About the Project
Enhancing Critical Thinking Using Generative AI in Higher Education
is a short, values-driven course that helps college students use generative AI to deepen inquiry, sharpen ethical judgment, and strengthen habits of discernment.
Originally developed as my undergraduate capstone at Arizona State University, the course offers a practical model for integrating AI into classrooms without compromising the core goals of critical thinking.
The next phase centers on supporting intentional adoption among students, faculty, and institutions seeking more thoughtful,
responsible AI use.

The Wrestle We Keep:
Thinking Together in the Age of AI
The Wrestle We Keep: Thinking Together in the Age of AI is a landmark perspective piece that invites readers to sit with a living tension: when generative AI makes shortcuts easy, what happens to the quiet wrestle that keeps thinking honest, plural, and alive?
What began as an undergraduate capstone — a narrative video course exploring AI and critical thinking — grew into a broader question about how design shapes struggle, the wrestle shapes thinking, and thinking shapes our shared agency. This piece names that shortcut culture isn’t new, but AI has scaled, softened, and hidden it inside tools that feel wise while flattening the very friction that thinking needs to stay real.
Instead of offering simple answers, this piece holds the wrestle open: through practical provocations, design insights, and a collective call to keep the craft unfinished enough for futures that demand more than easy polish. For educators, designers, students, and anyone shaping learning at the speed of AI, The Wrestle We Keep is an invitation to test, question, and steward the circle together.
